Obituary of Joseph D. Zupan

Joseph Daniel Zupan, 88, passed away October 2, 2018 in Northbrook, IL.

Joseph was born February 6, 1930 in North Chicago, IL to Daniel and Eva Zupan. After spending 30 years as a resident of North Chicago, Joseph also lived in Zion for over 30 years.  He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Humility Church in Beach Park, IL and a Greenskeeper at Shore Acres Country Club in Lake Bluff, IL.  Joseph proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1948-1952 and was a veteran of the Korean War.   

Joseph is survived by his nieces and nephews, Tony (Kathy) Zupan, Mark (Sabrina) Zupan, Susan Schwarz, Paul (Shalon) Zupan, Marty (Malinda) Zupan, David (Lori) Zupan, John (Claire) Zupan and Laura (Dan) Huber.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Anthony, Paul and Emil; sister, Amanda and nephews, Daniel Zupan, and Steve and Peter Markobrad.

Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 W Wadsworth Rd, Beach Park, IL 60099.
