Obituary of Wayne C. Wypych Sr.

Wayne C. Wypych Sr., 73, of Waukegan, IL passed away peacefully on Monday, November 5, 2018.

Wayne was born on September 18,1945 in Waukegan, IL to Steve and Lorraine Wypych.  On May 19, 1990, he married Laura Etteldorf at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.  He played on the church’s softball team and served as an elder.  Wayne was employed with OMC of Waukegan for over 30 years.  He loved Elvis and singing his music.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 28 years, Laura; children, Wayne Jr. and Christine; grandchildren, Kelsey, Shawn, Hayley, Jaden, Kaylin, Luke and Lilyanna; and his cat Leon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Steve.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a memorial service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 2720 N. McAree Rd, Waukegan, IL 60087.  Pastor John Shumate officiating.  Memorial donations to Laura Wypych would be appreciated.
