Obituary of Emolene Bolling
Emolene Bolling, 93, of Waukegan, Illinois passed away peacefully at home on November 8, 2018.
Emolene was born January 25, 1925 in Smithville, Mississippi to Winnie R. Wright and Sallie (nee Humphries) Wright. On December 18, 1943, she married Bruce Bolling in Monroe County, Mississippi. She worked for many years at the Globe Department Store. She adored her family and had a strong passion for gardening.
She is survived by her children, Darrell (Wendi) Bolling, Tammi (Darryl Eanos) Bolling; Grandchildren, Jason (Amber Caceres) Bolling, Jason Bowman, Michael (Rie) Bowman; great-grandchildren, Chloe Caceres, Lexi Caceres, Ryan Bowman, Joshua Bowman, Mira Emilie Bowman; siblings, Lois Rollins, James Wright, brother-in-law Bobby Eads, and many nieces and nephews.
Emolene is preceded in death by her parents, Winnie R. and Sallie (Humphries) Wright; her husband, Bruce; siblings, Clara (Kermit) Summerford, Reba (Charles) Blankenship, Tilman Wright, Truman Wright, and Doris Jean Eads.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
