John Lellish

1941 — July 12, 2006

John A. Lellish, 64, formerly of Lindenhurst and Chicago, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at his home in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, following a long illness. John was born August 13, 1941 in Chicago to John and Blanche Lellish. He proudly served in the Illinois National Gaurd. John was a member of St. Patrick's Church of Wadsworth and he retired from Schawk Graphics in 1998 following 35 years of loyal service. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Patricia; children John Lellish of Cocoa Beach, Florida, and Kelli (Daniel) Selness of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin; three "monkeys" (his grandchildren) Sidney, Joshua and Caleb Selness; siblings Arlene (Williet) Ginkel of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, Rose Mary (Jeep) Thompson of Lockport, Illinois and Don (Cindy) Lellish of Johnsburg, Illinois; two aunts Sofia Lellish of Elmhurst, Illinois; Helen (Frank) Jaworski of LaGrange Park, Illinois; and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, 1500 Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth, Illinois 60083. Visitation will be Friday, July 14th from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion, and on Saturday, July 15th at St. Patrick's Church, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations to Hospice Alliance, 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd. Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 have been suggested.
