Obituary of Juan Luis Cruz

Juan Luis Cruz 5/1/1976 - 10/29/2020 Johnny was called home on October 29, 2020. Though his departure was unexpected, his family and friends rejoice knowing he is in the arms of his creator, Jesus Christ, and holding hands with those who preceded his death. Johnny is survived by his daughter, Ariana Irene Cruz of San Juan, PR; father, Juan (Marina) Cruz of San Juan, PR; step daughters, Yaree Rodriguez and Alondra Rivera of San Juan, PR; sisters, Angelita (Matt) Wilkins of Gurnee, IL, Jessica (Omar) Cruz of Guaynabo, PR, and Theresa (Phil) Dugger of Lindenhurst, IL; brothers, Mike (Kathy) Morgan of Janesville, WI, Junior (Katrina) Morgan of Zion, IL, Jason (Marielis) Cruz of Guaynabo, PR, and Michael Cruz of Dublin, Ireland; Grandfather, Isaac Gonzalez of Zion, IL; Abuela, Virginia Diaz of Guaynabo, PR; nephews, Matthew and Jonathan Wilkins, Austin, Hayden and Tristan Morgan, Zachary and Jacob Dugger, Joshua Morgan, and Adrian Cruz; nieces, Chelsey, Mackenzie and Ryleigh Dugger, Amaia and Mireia Cruz, Andrea Cruz, Alexis Pye, Alyssa Wilkins, and Veronica Morgan; great-nieces, Pamela Dugger and Adellin Pye; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Morgan; step-father, William James Morgan; grandmother, Martha Gonzalez; abuelo, Juan Cruz; uncle, Danny Gonzalez; aunt, Janice Gonzalez; aunt and uncle, Den and Donna Morgan; great-aunt, Rafine Colon, uncle Raymond Gonzalez. Memorial Visitation will be held Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m., Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 p.m.
