Obituary of Margaret Clara Nunes

Margaret Clara Nunes, 73, of Zion, IL passed away peacefully at her home on November 17, 2020. Margaret was born May 22, 1947 in Waukegan, IL to Clarence Lang and Irma Schmidt. She was a previous resident of Waukegan, IL where she graduated from Waukegan High School. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, sewing, arts and crafts and reading. She devoted much of her time as a care giver to family members, including her mother, until her passing at age 85, and her sister that passed away this year at the age of 69. She is survived by her sons, Richard Nunes and Larry Nunes of Zion, IL; daughter-in-law, Theresa Nunes; granddaughter, Elizabeth; and sisters, Barbara Phillips of Eden Prairie, MN, and Mary Ann Wiley of Calhoun, GA. Celebration of Life Service at Wesley Church is being planned for a later date.
