Obituary of Michael R. Burt

Michael R. Burt, 68, of Waukesha, WI passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. Michael was born July 7, 1952 in Waukegan, IL to Ira and Vanda (nee Mole) Burt. He was employed with Johnson Motors, West Vaco and Western States Envelope where he was known by all as a hard working man. Michael enjoyed cooking, watching western movies, and listening to music; most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Carol (nee Jeresco) Burt; children, Joseph (Amy) Burt, Michael Burt, James Burt, Carrie (Ben Waldbillig) Burt, Paul (Sandy) Holcomb, David (Tina) Holcomb, Michael (Jennifer) Holcomb and Andrea (Tom) Holcomb; numerous grandchildren; sister, Kaydene Stapher; brothers, Bob (Kathie) Burt and Steve (Laura) Burt; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Vanda Burt. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at The Point Church, 900 Lewis Ave., Winthrop Harbor, IL 60096.
