Obituary of Kimberly Dziekan

Kim (nee McKillen) Dziekan, age 64, of Wadsworth passed away December 1, 2020. Born June 2, 1956 in Waukegan, Kimberly Diane was the daughter of Jerry McKillen and Virginia McManus. Kim went on to marry John Dziekan of Wadsworth on October 8, 1983. Kim worked at Abbott Labs for 30+ years. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed shopping, decorating and long walks at Lake Andrea and the forest preserve with her rescue dogs. Survivors include her loving husband, John; beloved dog, Rusty; mother, Virginia McManus of Pleasant Prairie, WI; brother, Kurt McKillen of Gurnee, IL; sister, Kelly (Ron) Walker of Coal City, IL; brother-in-law, Joe Dziekan of Wadsworth, IL; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry McKillen. Services will be private; in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to your local animal shelter would be appreciated.
