Obituary of Al A. Trnka

Al A. Trnka 86, passed away on January 14, 2021 peacefully at Vista East Hospital. He was born January 21, 1934 in Montgomery, MN to Frank and Rose Trnka. He was a graduate of Montgomery High School and served in the Air Force being a proud veteran. He was transferred to IL, where he then opened Anchor Hocking Glass Company in Gurnee, IL. He later worked for U.S. Steel and Victory Hospital in engineering. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved to talk to fellow veterans and loved music, especially country. He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years Barbara Trnka, two daughters Debra (Kevin) Fahey Sharee Trnka, step-son Blake Anaya, step-grandson Jason Anaya-Whitaker, and sister Lorraine; and many nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his parents, four brothers, two sisters, one step-daughter Collen Anaya and one step-son Wayne Anaya.. No services will be planned at this time.
