Obituary of Mary McDonald

Mary Anne McDonald, 37, of Beach Park, IL died on Friday, November 4, 2011 at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. Mary was born December 30, 1973 in Waukegan. She had been employed as Activities Coordinator at Rolling Hills Manor Nursing Home in Zion. Survivors include her son, Jake McDonald of Beach Park, IL; her mother, Herminia McDonald of Beach Park, IL; and two sisters, Janet McDonald of Highland Park, IL and Michelle McDonald of Beach Park, IL. She was preceded in death by her father, Mitchell McDonald; and grandparents, Russell and Mary McGee. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 8, 2011, from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, followed by a funeral service beginning at 5:00 p.m., Rev. Willard Blomquist officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation (www.AAMDS.org) has been suggested.
