Bonnie Lou Moyer 79, of Zion, Il passed away on March 5, 2021 in Kenosha, WI. She was born on April 22, 1941 in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of Sam (Ina Myers) Hall.
She had many hobbies and talents such as sign language, decorating cakes, ball room dancing but most importantly being involved in her Church Waukegan First Church of Nazarene. Bonnie was an excellent provider for her children by showing her talents by sewing cloths, bags, curtains, dolls of all sizes, blankets, and butterfly magnets for all eight of her children. Her talent didn’t stop there though she also was a cake decorator and made professional cakes for everyone. Her caring nature though allowed her to learn sign language so that she could be able to communicate with people, especially when signing at church. She loved to color pictures with the lords prayer and had sent them to everywhere in the world, hundreds of families have a picture she made hanging on their wall. She served her church by becoming a Sunday School teacher, missionary president, quiz master. When she wasn’t singing or painting she was ball room dancing, and was she amazing at it.
Bonnie is survived by her husband Charles Moyer; children, Sandra Cook, June Cook-Fogel, Kim Moyer, Doris Cook Parker, Kala Moyer Lelong, Kevin Moyer, Dawn Moyer Campbell, grandchildren; Jason Walter, Amber Demarr, Jakie Cashore, Brian Cashmore, Prentice Parker, Charles Hall, Tonya Banak, Candy Cook, Bonnie Cook, Crystal Cook, Samantha Carr, Kori Harris, Kyle Earnest, Anthony Devine; twenty great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and brother Bob Myer.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son William Cook; grandson William Cook Jr; and brother Terry Yoder.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Congdon Funeral Home located at 3012 Sheridan Rd Zion, IL. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Zion, IL.
