Obituary of Robert Wayne Blagg Sr.

Robert Wayne Blagg Sr., 66, of Winthrop Harbor, IL passed away surrounded by his family on March 29, 2021. He was born on February 22, 1955 in Kenosha, WI the son of William (Marilyn) Blagg Sr. Robert graduated from Zion Benton High School in 1973. Shortly after he married his high school sweetheart on June 19, 1976 in Zion, IL. He worked for many years as a service Tech for his dad’s business Blagg Heating and Sheet Metal Inc. Once he retired he enjoyed keeping busy by working part time at Home Depot. He was a big family man and believed that family always came first. He loved traveling to Northern Wisconsin, and Disney. His favorite thing to do was to relax outside at home in his gazebo. Robert was a big animal lover and a huge Packer Fan! Robert leaves behind his loving wife Debra; children, Robert Blagg Jr., Lisa (Joe) Lundy; grandchildren, Alison Blagg, Jacob Blagg; siblings, Shirley (William) Taft of Winthrop Harbor, IL, William (Debra) Blagg Jr of Sturevant, WI, Lorri Waters of Chesapeake, VA; aunt Pat Johnson of Hendersonville, NC, uncle Larry Blagg of Fort Pierce, FL; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by, his parents; grandparents Ernie (Mary) Blagg, Bert (Rose) Richie. Service will be private, Robert is laid to rest at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Zion, IL.
