Obituary of Lenore Williams

Lenore Williams, 91, of Zion, IL passed away Thursday May 20th, 2021 at Vista East Hospital, Waukegan, IL. She was born December 31st, 1929 in Chicago, IL and graduated from Grant High School. She married her husband, Forrest “Ace” Williams in 1950 and they spent 70 wonderful years together. She retired from Sears Roebuck after 30 years of service. Grandma DeDee, as she was affectionately known, enjoyed gardening and making beautiful Christmas ornaments. She is survived by her husband, son Michael (Dr. Georgia) Williams, grandsons Michael Williams Jr. & Marc (Kayla) Mitchell. Great grandchildren Kyle and Renee Williams. Niece Denise (Dan) Bethel and nephew Bradley (Barb) Williams. She was preceded in death by her daughter Debra Mitchell. Per her wishes, Lenore was cremated. Services will be private for the immediate family.
