Chester J. Wnorowski, age 95, passed away on July 5, 2021 in Pleasant Prairie, WI. He was born in Toledo, Ohio to Stanley and Stephania Wnorowski. Chet retired from the Ford Motor Company, Maumee Stamping Plant as their first Quality Control Manager. He also served in the U. S. Navy as a Signalman 2nd Class during World War II in the South Pacific. He was a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post 606, and also was a member of B.P.O.E. 53.
He is survived by his son, Daniel J. (Melissa) Wnorowski of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. He is also survived by his two step-children Patricia (Tunia) Bridge and Susie Davenport and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Gable, and his two sons Thomas J. (Shannon) Wnorowski and Chester Jr. Also preceding him was his second wife, Dorothy Pat (Swigon) Wnorowski. Also preceding him in death were his brothers Edward, Harry, Joseph (Pat), Stanley Jr. (Bonnie) and Lawrence (Mary) Wnorowski and his sister Marie Wnorowski.
At his request he is being cremated and his ashes will be interned at a future date in Elliston Cemetery next to his wife of 52 years, Patricia.
