Obituary of William H. Miracle

William Henry Miracle, 73, of Strafford, MO passed away Monday, July 19, 2021. William was born May 5, 1948 in Beatrice, NE to Herbert and Marie Miracle. He was a previous resident of Kenosha, WI, Liberty, MO and Parkersburg, WV. William graduated high school with the class of 1966 and was employed with Chrysler Engine Plant in Kenosha, WI for 30 years. He was also a member of Orchard Crest Baptist Church. William served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 4 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. William is survived by his children, William Arthur Miracle and Jennifer Lynn Miracle; grandchildren, Arthur C. Miracle, Conner W. Miracle, Ann Marie Johnston, Elena Garcia, Maya M. Houghton; 3 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Lee Miracle, Charlene Willems, Mindy Ludwig and Kenneth Miracle. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Miracle; and parents, Herbert and Marie Miracle. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL 60099 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Funeral Service will begin at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in William's name, to Transitional Living Services for Veterans in McHenry, IL.
