Linda Jo Rodriguez

Linda Jo Rodriguez, 73, of Zion, IL, passed away peacefully at home on September 13, 2021. Linda was born May 9, 1948. She married George Rodriguez in November of 1965. She graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School and was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Wadsworth. Linda worked at Hoeksema’s Mini Mart and was a clerk at the Lake County Courthouse. She is survived by her children, Timothy, Mark, Daniel and Andrew; grandchildren, Timmy Jr., Christian, Kylie and Zachariah; brother, Gary Ellis; and sister, Holly Ellis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Martha Ellis; and her husband, George. A memorial visitation will be held Friday, October 1, 2021 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
