Obituary of Constance V. Young

Constance “Connie” V. Young, 75, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2021, at home in Zion, IL surrounded by loved ones. She was born June 12, 1946, in Yale, MI. As a military child she lived in many locations both stateside and abroad. In 1963 she settled in Rockville, MD where she became the beloved wife of the late Robert Young and devoted working mother to Glenn (Terri)Young, Patricia (Michael) Litewski, Donna (late Robert) Young-Ritter and Robert (Nancy) Young. During her professional years she specialized in building base stations for satellite communication. Upon her retirement in 2011 she moved to Zion, IL, where she spent her leisure time doting on her 14 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren, continuing to travel the United States, bead, garden, and can vegetables. In lieu of services, flowers, or donations, it was Connie’s wish that her family and friends set aside time with their loved ones to celebrate the gifts of life.
