Obituary of Charles Trumper

Charles Paul Trumper 74, of Zion, IL passed away on October 9, 2021 in Waukegan. He was born on November 16, 1946 in Pana, IL the son of Victor (Maxine Garner) Trumper. He previously resided in Ortonville, MI before settling in Zion. Charles married Susan Trumper on August 28, 1971 in St. Thecla Catholic Church in Mt. Clemens, MI. Chuck enjoyed traveling with his family, taking them to Mount Rushmore, Niagara Falls, Boston, Colorado, Yellowstone and the upper Peninsula. He even took his two boys on a fishing trip to Canada. Once he retired he and his family traveled to the Philippines for an entire month. If Chuck wasn't traveling around the U.S. he was attending to his yard. It was nominated the most beautiful yard by the city of Zion. Chuck leaves behind his wife Susan, children; Theodore ( Nempha)Trumper, Matthew Paul Trumper, granddaughter Leslie Marie Trumper, sisters Marilyn (George) Samra, Denise (Jeffrey) Wall, brother Thomas Trumper. He is preceded in death by his parents. All services will be held at a later date.
