Obituary of Hilda E. Avenarius

Hilda Elizabeth “Liz” Avenarius age 81 of Zion Illinois passed away Tuesday October 5, 2021 in Park Ridge Illinois. A long time resident of Zion Illinois, she retired from Cherry Electric in Waukegan, IL, and attended Christ Community Church in Zion. She is survived by her daughter Tammy (Bill) King; her son Terry Criswell; her grandsons Jordan King and Joshua King; her brother Lonnie Rowland, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death her by husband Roy Avenarius; her siblings Hubert Rowland, Charles Rowland, Dardis Rowland, Curtis Rowland; and her parents Eath Rowland and Tidye Rowland. Visitation will be held Monday, October 18, 2021 at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL 60099 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Funeral Service will begin at 6:30 p.m.
