Obituary of Jessica Nicole Rodgers

Jessica Nicole Rodgers 28, of Zion, IL passed away surrounded by her family on October 25, 2021 in Chicago, IL. She was born on June 14, 1993 in Maywood, IL the daughter of Daniel (Mary Louise Rohan) Rodgers. Jessica graduated from Zion Benton Township High School and was a member of New Season Community Church in Zion, IL. Jessica loved being outside, especially camping, boating, skateboarding or riding her bike, and swimming, she also loved to draw. Jessica leaves behind her father, Daniel W. Rodgers; aunts, Lisa Rodgers, Tina (Brian Rasmussen) Polek, and Pearl (Jim) Hessmer; uncles, Walter Rodgers, Richard Rodgers, Adam Rodgers, Brian Rodgers, Michael Steinkopf, Daniel (Lucy) Rohan, and Michael Rohan; cousins, Kara, Heather, Megan, Crystal, Melissa, Eric, Madeline, Cassandra, Jenny, Chrissy, Josh, Ben, Carl, Britney, Steven, Kathernie, and Allison; boyfriend, Travis; best friends, Alyssa, Danielle, Britney, Lexsy, and Ashleigh. Jessica is preceded in death by her mother, Mary; grandparents, William (Patricia) Steinkopf, and Daniel (Laverne) Rohan; and an aunt Sheila Rodgers. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 3:00 until 5:30 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 5:30 pm at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099.
