Obituary of Francisco Mercurio Jr.

Francisco “Francis/Jun” Mercurio Jr. of Kenosha WI was called to Heaven surrounded by his family after a six year battle with cancer. A Father, Lolo, Son, Brother and a friend to many. Francis was born in Quezon City, Philippines where he studied through college and found happiness playing basketball. He moved to the states in 1982 where he started his family in California, followed by moving to Wisconsin in 1996 with his three daughters. Francis was known for his great sense of humor, his one-of-a-kind personality and his dedication to his daughters and grandchildren. He is survived by his three daughters Jennifer (Ben), Brittany, and Courtney (Justin); his four grandchildren Ayden, Bentley, Cash, and Penelope; his two brothers Rafael (Dina) Mercurio and Lorenzo (Marianne) Mercurio, his three sisters Myrna (Michael) Fleming , Marge Mercurio and Cecille (John) Mercurio Agcaoili, and sister-in-law Rubi Mercurio. Along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is now at peace with his mother and father Rosie and Francisco Mercurio Sr. and Brother Raul “Butch” Mercurio. A visitation will take place Sunday, November 28 at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a funeral service at 5:30 p.m.
