Obituary of Gary Cohen

Gary Cohen 69, of Zion, IL passed away peacefully on November 26, 2021 in Waukegan, IL. He was born on December 30, 1951, the son of Gordon S. and Dorothy (nee Glasser) Cohen. Gary graduated from high school and then worked as a Security Guard. He was married to the love of his life for 36 years, and loved his wife and son very much. He was also a huge Dale Earnhardt fan. Gary is survived by his wife, Beverly; son, Michael Pettry Sr; grandson, Michael Pettry, Jr.; sister, Nancy (Don) Curott; uncle Marshall (Judi) Cohen; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and in-laws, Jack and Sylvia Pettry.
