Obituary of Lynnette Georgeson

Lynnette "Nino" Georgeson, 61, of Zion, IL passed away on January 6, 2022 in Waukegan, IL. She was born on August 7, 1960 in Zion, IL the daughter of Howard Patrick and Gladys Lorene (Royce) Drost. Lynnette graduated from Zion Benton High School where she then later worked as a cook. Lynnette then worked at Pine Terrace also as a cook and transporter for the residences. She loved to camp with her loving husband Brian. Together they traveled to; Washington D.C, Atlantic City, Arizona, and the Football Hall of Fame. Her favorite place to relax was the Wisconsin Dells. Lynnette loved spending time with her family and friends, especially with her grandson Jayden. She spent her time teaching him how to cook, play cards, and board games. Lynnette is survived by her husband Brian Georgeson; daughter, Angi Schimanski; grandson, Jayden Schimanski; sister, Terry Allen; mother- in- law, Diane Georgeson; sister-in-laws;Tammy(Edward) Prebl, Justine Menard, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Barry Drost; niece, Deanna Allen; father-in-law, Spiro Georgeson. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home followed by internment at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Zion, IL.
