Helen Clark

Helen Craig Clark, 74, of Zion, died on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at her home. Helen was born November 11, 1931 in Zion and has lived in Zion all of her life. She retired from Abbott's after 27 years and she was a member of Beach Community Church in Beach Park. Survivors include her children Garnett Craig of Grayslake, Illinois, Eugene (Tina) Craig of Zion and Dennis (Elena) Craig of Johnsburg, Illinois; three grandchildren Maria (Mike) Baartz, Benjamin Craig and Kristen Craig; one great-grandson Malachi Baartz; one sister Daisy (Jim) Wilkins of Winthrop Harbor; two brothers William (Doralyn) Clark of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Dave (Barb) Clark of Zion; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother Rev. John W. Clark and Mary Oliver. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at Beach Community Church, 37283 N. Greenbay Road, Beach Park, with Pastor Gay Brown officiating. Memorial donations to Beach Community Church have been suggested.
