Beulah Wright

Obituary of Beulah F Wright

Beulah went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 19, 2022 at the age of 96. Beulah was born July 26, 1925 in Zion Illinois to Hans and Rena (Bjorine) Dronen. Beulah attended Zion schools and then enrolled in nursing school at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree as a Nurse Anesthetist. She went on to work at Victory Hospital in Waukegan Illinois. Beulah loved to travel and took many solo trips. She went to Ethiopia to visit her sister Alta who was a missionary there and also took a trip around the world. She was also proud of her Norwegian heritage. She loved to serve Jesus at every opportunity. She was a mentor and Bible teacher to many, a treasured nurse to those that needed help, a much loved nursery worker, she helped children monthly at Lydia Home in Chicago until her 90’s and so much more. One of Beulah’s favorite verses was Isaiah 26:3 “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in Thee.” Even in her later years, she never forgot who Jesus was and could recite many Bible verses. Beulah was married to Clarence Wright of Zion Illinois in 1965. They had many wonderful years together serving the Lord. She will be missed by her step-children: Joan Lucy, and John (Judy) Wright. Her grandchildren: Dave (Mary Ellen), Dean (Colleen) and Dan (Rita) Lucy, Blythe (Craig) Anthony, Melody Pulera, Michael (Jody) and Randall Wright. Beulah also had nine great-grand children and two great-great grand children. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence, her brothers Hans and Warren Dronen, her sister Alta Dronen, step-son Warren Wright, and son-in-law Dwayne Lucy. The family would like to thank the staff at Barton Senior Residences and Rolling Hills Manor of Zion for their wonderful and compassionate care. No services will be held at this time.
