Obituary of Robert Edward Johnson

Robert Edward Johnson, 84, of Beach Park, IL passed away peacefully March 17, 2022. Robert was born October 29, 1937, in Waukegan, IL. He graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School and was retired from Komatsu. Robert married Charlotte Kegley June 28, 1958, in Waukegan, IL. Robert “Bob” Johnson enjoyed caring for his house and yard, repairing just about anything, he cherished his beloved dog Beau, and enjoyed spending time with his family most of all. He adored his grandsons, Matthew and Scott. Bob loved to travel to northern Wisconsin. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Robert is survived by his children, Sally Johnson (David) Sandine, Robert S. Johnson, and Donna M Klammer; grandchildren, Scott C Klammer and Matthew David Sandine; sister, Carole (John) Thomas and nephew, David Thomas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Johnson; parents, Robert F and Angeline Johnson; brother, James Johnson, and his beloved dog Beau. Services will be private for the family.
