Hope Senter

Hope Marie Senter,72, of Winthrop Harbor, IL passed away on May 31, 2022 in Libertyville, IL. She was born on December 25, 1949 the daughter of David Needham and Margaret Reid. She was baptised at First Methodist church, and attended Full Gospel Tabernacle growing up in Waukegan, IL. Hope graduated from Waukegan High School. Hope worked for Refiners & Smelters in North Chicago, and at Abbott Labs. Hope had a way of giving and helping her community, she spent several years as a Big sister with the Boys and Girls club of Lake county. She also was a generous donor to several organizations; St. Jude, Shriners Hospital, Children Cancer Center, VFW, Paralyzed Veteransof America Wounded Warrior Project, Boys Ranch, and many other organizations. Hope's love and generosity did not stop there though, she loved being surrounded by family, and close friends. Her front door was always open to greet those she loved. Hope is survived by her children; Brian D. Senter. Beverly A. (Anthony) Rodriguez; grandchildren; Savanah Rodriguez, Sebastian Rodriguez, Mariyah Robbins, Briana Senter, Alexa Senter; great-grandchildren; Felicity Robbins, Eleanor Robbins; brother; David (Arlove) Needham; ; special cousins Sherry Cohn, Stephanie Sibayan; niece, Moet Carabello; and many loving nieces, nephews,cousins, close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandmother, Nellie Peterson; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 5:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099. Interment will be private.
