Obituary of Johnathan Evans

Johnathan Malik Evans, 22, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Illinois, Wisconsin and Arizona, passed away June 5, 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Jonathan was born February 22, 2000 in McHenry, Illinois.  He graduated from the South Milwaukee High School Class of 2018.  Jonathan enjoyed his career at Topper’s Pizza in Indiana.  He was a hard working, motivated and determined individual.  Everyone will truly miss his great sense of humor.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Theresa Bloom and father, Jermaine Evans; siblings, Jasmine Bloom, Marissa Evans, and Malakai Bloom; nieces and nephews, Annabella Campos, Haven Flores, and Tyler Breber; grandparents, Karen Spaid, Dennis Bloom, and Onice May Ulmer; aunts and uncles, Jessica Bloom, Ronald Evans, Terell Ulmer, Shathell Shield, LaShawn Williams, and Cynthia Evans; cousins, Cortisha Hardison, Brianna Bizzell, Austin Jamal “AJ” Bizzell, Joshua Evans, Keyvette Shields, Miles Shields, Zyanna Hairston, Zaylla Ulmer, Aleah Smith, Aydin Smith, Leon Shields, Davonte Williams, Dayshawn Williams, Dea’ Jorell Williams, Dayveon Williams, Damareon Williams, Damareon Williams, and Baily Perry.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, John Frank, Alice and Wayne Russell Bloom; and paternal grandfather, Terry James Shields.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL.  A celebration of life service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Those who are not able to join in person may attend via live stream here - https://www.hdezwebcast.com/show/johnathan-evans
