Obituary of Lee Todd

Lee Todd, 37, of Waukegan, IL, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022. Lee was born in Waukegan, IL, on August 25, 1984, and raised by his mother, Debra Todd.

Lee was a loving father, husband, son, brother and friend.  His first love was his family. Lee’s greatest joy in life were his daughters, Teresa and Ava, of which he had a beautiful relationship.  He took time for heart to hearts and made sure to curate many beautiful memories for them, which is evident in the connection they shared. His passions included all things in nature and the outdoors, including gardening, camping, fishing, and hiking.  He also loved going to see plays with his mom and his sister. Lee’s intelligence, wit, and sense of humor made him loved and adored by everyone who met him.  His eyes and smile lit up every room he entered.  Lee was a fierce advocate for everyone around him and the underprivileged. Lee always joked that it was his lot in life to be surrounded by strong women.  

Lee is survived by his children, Teresa (14) and Ava (9); his wife, Cynthia; his mother, Debra (Hank Jackson); his sister, Jessica; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and friends. 

Lee was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernard and Rose Marie Wlodarczyk.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road in Zion, IL.  All are welcome to join in celebrating Lee’s life.
