Obituary of Clayton L. Watts

Clayton Leander Watts passed away, in Mesa, AZ, on July 5, 2022 of a heart related illness. Born in Mississippi on July 27, 1934, he was the 4th of 10 children born to Thomas and Leatha Watts.
He was married October 2, 1955 to Willie Louise Watts (Floyd), also from Mississippi.
 
He worked for Johns-Manville for 39 years. Clayton and Louise lived in Zion, IL for 46 years, then moved to Mesa, AZ. in 2001 after retiring.
 
Louise, his wife of 66 years, passed away earlier this year on March 11th. He was also preceded in death by his brothers James Thomas Watts, Leroy Watts, Edward Earl Watts and sisters Bobbie Grace Jones, Billie Berk Pharr and Betty Lou South.
 
He is survived by 3 sisters, Margaret Louise Cromeans, Quinnie May Johnson and Shirley Jean Dayenian, his 3 children, Danny (Mary) Watts (Ellison Bay, WI), David Watts (Kenosha, WI), and Donna (Glenn) Hedmark (Mesa, AZ), 4 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
 
No memorial services will be held.
