Obituary of Linda Lou Walenter

Linda Lou Walenter, 75 of Waukegan, Illinois passed away August 26, 2022, in Waukegan, IL.  Linda was born September 14, 1946, in Waukegan, IL to Ronald and Myrtle Towne.

Linda is a graduate of North Chicago High School.  She married James Walenter June 28, 1969. Jim and Linda were members of Our lady of Humility Catholic Church in Beach Park, IL.  Linda was an avid animal lover and loved to watch her handicapped great niece Taryn.

Linda is survived by her husband, James Walenter; nephews and nieces, Kim Wade, Ronald & Diane Towne, Noni & Jim Lavris, Paul Perini, Troy & Diana Laughlin, Gregory & Celeste Walenter, Katie Walenter, Tara Gilbert and Dean Turner.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Myrtle Towne; sisters, Donna Cessna, Sharon Perini and nephew Joseph Gilbert.

Memorial visitation will take place Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a funeral mass at 11:00 AM at Our lady of Humility Catholic Church, 10655 West Wadsworth Road, Beach Park, Il. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Society of St. Francis Animal Protection in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
