Obituary of Teresa Wickstrom

Teresa “Terri” Marie (nee Drinkall) Wickstrom gained her heavenly wings on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Aurora Medical Center, Pleasant Prairie, WI after a lengthy illness. Terri was born in Canyonville, Oregon on December 10,1959 and lived most all her life in Zion.

Prior to her illness Terri enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, cross stitching and many other crafts. She had previously worked for Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), White Swan Meta, Condell Medical Center and Help At Home.

Terri is survived by her husband, Steve Wickstrom of Zion, IL; one sister Mona (Ron Wojnarowski) Armstrong of Zion, IL; one brother John (heather Noll) Drinkall, Spring Grove, IL ; and a niece Dana Drinkall of Pocatello, ID/Gurnee, IL. Terri is also survived by her cousins, Roy (Carol) Roberts, Lester Roberts, Cyndi Roberts, Mary (Mike) Onaga and Tim (Laura Heffernan) Roberts along with Dawn (Raymond) Van de Winkler and Lisa Pompa and many others.

Terri was preceded in death by her parents George “Red” Drinkall and Darla Porteous; stepfather George Dean Porteous; father-in-law, Raymond Wickstrom; and brother-in-law Gayle Armstrong. Terri was met at the Rainbow bridge by her beloved Dobermans, Topaze, Grace, Jewelle and Sassy!

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m., at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd.,Zion,IL 60099. Interment will be private at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Zion, IL.
