Obituary of Joseph A Stapleton

Joseph A. Stapleton, 57 of Waukegan, Illinois passed away October 23, 2022, in Waukegan, IL.  He was born March 29, 1965, in Anchorage, Alaska.

Joe loved his cats, Snickers and Snowball. He was a Green Bay Packers fan, loved his fish tanks, fishing, working on cars, and snowplowing in the winter.  Joe was always helping others and volunteering his time.

Joe is survived by the love of his life, his partner of 30 years, Catherine Brashear; mother, Ellen Wright; stepson, Zak Brashear; mother-in-law, Ernie Brashear; siblings, John Stapleton, Denise Hardt, Courtney Stapleton; brother-in-law, Willy Brashear and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Stapleton and brother, Wayne Stapleton.

Visitation will take place Friday, November 4 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL. In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be appreciated.
