"My mother often spoke of the wonderful times they had going dancing with the funds my father was receiving from the G.I. bill. In the later years, while they were still young, my parents took many wonderful vacations to destinations such as Russia, China, Australia, Canada, and Hawaii. She was the first mate on all the boats my father owned throughout the course of his life. She loved to garden and crochet and throughout her home hang many water colors painting that she had painted over her life time. One of her favorite gifts that she liked to give to her two sons were beautiful water color paintings of any house that we had purchased, they are treasured. Both of my parents were wonderful people. They both stopped the pain of thousands of people thru their dentistry and always took the time to help, even on their off days. She was my closest friend and we shared many things with each other. I will miss her dearly and will think about her everyday along with all the others that have passed. She was a top shelf wife, mother, daughter, and good friend to many others. Her whimsical laugh and unexpected humor will be greatly missed. I love you mom I hope your happy now, the pain is gone."
