Obituary of Shirley Turner

Shirley A. Turner, 80, passed away on February 13, 2023. She was born on February 19, 1942 in Camri, Illinois the daughter of William and Elsie (Page) Browning. 
 
Shirley always had a book in her hand whether it was decorating books, fashion magazines or her big collection of romance novel books. Her love for romance novel books carried on in her personality as a love and caring person. Shirley worked as a retail worker in the fashion industry for several years before retiring.
 
She leaves behind her significant other Ronald Richard; sisters Alice, and Kathy.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Jim, Don, Mary, and Cindy.
 
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion, IL 60099. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial.
