Christine Cabrera

Christine Dailey Cabrera, 64, of Zion, Illinois, passed away at home on April 14, 2023 surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Christine was born in Denison, Texas on November 2, 1958. Christine married Edgardo Cabrera on September 2, 1976 in Long Beach, California. Christine was a devoted homemaker and retired real estate agent, who loved spending time with her family. She loved to travel and was an avid collector of salt and pepper shakers. Christine was also known for making the family turkey, best stuffing, and green bean casserole for Thanksgiving dinner.

Christine is survived by her former partner; Edgardo Cabrera; children, Emerson (Wilsa) Cabrera and Ericka Cabrera; grandchild Evanesce Willa Cabrera.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Inez Dailey.

Memorial visitation will take place Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, Illinoisat 9:00 AM with memorial service to follow at 10:00 AM. Inurnment will follow after the service at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Zion, Illinois.
