Obituary of Bobbie R. Lotz
Bobbie R. Lotz, 90, of Winthrop Harbor, IL. passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 17, 2023.
Bobbie was born September 27, 1932 in Carlinville, IL. He was a prior resident of Zion, IL. and Kenosha, WI. Bobbie married his wife Rachel in Macomb, IL. in 1955. He was a member of Lakeview Church in Zion, The Masonic Lodge of Illinois, and the Avion Travel Club. Bobbie worked for OMC/Johnson Motors in Waukegan, IL. for 32 years before retiring.
Bobbie loved to travel during retirement with his wife Rachel, often going to Florida, and Branson, Missouri. He also enjoyed cruises, fishing, car shows, and NASCAR.
Bobbie is survived by his children Rick (Susan) Lotz, Kim Lotz, and Dave (Ellen) Lotz; grandchildren Christel, Andrew, Dustyn, Connor, Sasha, Kristi, and Jennifer; great-grandchildren Kaia and Easten; siblings Audrey Lotz Clark, Harry Lotz, and Charlie Lotz; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Bobbie was preceded in death by his wife Rachel Lotz; brothers Martin Lotz, Melvin Lotz, and Perry Lotz; and parents Charles and Bessie Lotz.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion, IL. 60099. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Zion, IL.
