Obituary of Carl Ostrander

Carl A. Ostrander, 51, of Winthrop Harbor, IL died suddenly at home on Thursday, October 6, 2011. He was born May 14, 1960 in Highland Park and attended Waukegan East High School. On July 22, 2006 he married Vicky L. Davis in Waukegan. He was employed at Acco Brands in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Carl was loved by too many friends to list. Survivors include his wife Vicky L. Ostrander; children Destiny (Peter) Carlson of Kenosha, WI and Keith Ostrander of Winthrop Harbor, IL; grandchildren Ian Ryan Ostrander and Maci Hope Carlson; siblings Dennis (Barb) Ostrander, Mike (Sandy) Ostrander, Karen (Harry) Wagner, Jill (Dave) Johnson, Janet Ostrander, and Jack Ostrander; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Gail Sanstad; brother Jimmy Ostrander; and his parents Irwin and Norma Jean Ostrander. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion.
