William Phillips

William Dale Phillips,63, of Beach Park, died on Friday, December 8, 2006, at the V.A. Medical Center, North Chicago. William was born November 29, 1943, in Chicago, IL. He was a United States Army Veteran and was formerly employed for Ted's and Louie's restaurants in Waukegan. William was also an American Legion member. He was a loving brother and enjoyed traveling and hunting and fishing. He is survived by a daughter, Denise (Willie Jr.) Mendoza of Sparks, Nevada; grandchildren, Anthony and Le Ana Mendoza; brother, Wendell Dalrymple of Winthrop Harbor, IL; sister, Martha Burles of Pleasant Prairie, WI; nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother William and Martha Phillips and a sister, Kathryn Dalrymple. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2006, at 4:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 100 Tri-State International, Lincolnshire, IL 60069.
