Patricia M. Cook

Patricia "Pat" M. Cook, 91, of Zion, IL, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2023.

Pat was born November 7, 1931 in Superior, WI.  She married Donald D. Cook on June 24, 1950 in Superior, WI.  Pat was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waukegan, IL.  She worked for Abbott Laboratories for 18 years, and after her retirement, enjoyed volunteering for the Zion Park District. She also enjoyed many years at her Wisconsin home in Plymouth, WI.

She is survived by her daughter, Linnea (Dave Rogers) Cook; grandchildren, Alison Ramos, Zach (Tara) Metz, and Tyler (Katie) Cook; great-grandchildren, Ian and Austin Ramos, Lowan, Piper and Silas Metz, and Theodore Cook; daughter-in-law, Laurie Cook; and former grandson-in-law, Joseph Ramos.

She was preceded in death by her  husband, Donald Cook; parents, Andre

and Linnea Morman; son, Gary Cook; grandson, Ian Cook; daughter-in-law, Joan Cook; and 3 brothers.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 658 Grand Avenue, Waukegan, IL.  A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Richard Grudt, officiating.  Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion, IL.
