Duane Kerr

Duane Elwood Kerr, of Waukegan, Illinois passed away January 18, 2024 in Zion, Illinois. He was born April 25, 1933 in Dover, Ohio to parents Raymond and Mary Kerr.

Duane has previously lived in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. He married his wife, Mary Kerr on May 25, 1952 in New Philadelphia, Ohio.  Duane received a bachelor's degree from Maranantha Baptist University, was a devout member of Victory Baptist Church in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, and served as a pastor for many years before retiring.

Duane is survived by his wife, Mary Kerr; children, Rosetta (Steve) Jarrett, Jim (Noel), Joe (Susan), and John; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Wanda (Gene) Robinson.

Duane was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Mary Kerr, and brother Paul Kerr.

In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to Victory Baptist Church, Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

A visitation will be held Sunday January 28, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church 3401 Springbrook Rd, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 as well as a service held Monday January 29, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Victory Baptist Church.
