Philip C. Gersdorf

Philip C. Gersdorf, 58, passed away at his home in Beach Park, IL, April 15, 2024.

Philip was born November 19, 1965 in Park Ridge, IL.  He moved to Glenview before marrying Jolene Mills on June 6, 1987. Phil was a deacon at The Tabernacle Church in Kenosha, WI. Phil loved the Lord and his church family. He loved being a Deacon and leading the Care Ministry at Church. He lead several Bible studies and he felt it was his God given ministry.  Phil also owned his own flooring company, Kater Floor Service Inc. for 37 years. He was a natural born leader with a larger than life personality. He also loved visiting seniors. Phil was an avid car lover and enjoyed going fast.

Phil is survived by his wife, Jolene M. Gersdorf; children, Joshua J. Gersdorf, Benjamin C. Gersdorf; sister, Norma M. Gersdorf.

Phil is preceded in death by his parents, Norman C. and Eunice M. Gersdorf

Visitation will take place at The Tabernacle Church, 7951 36th Ave., Kenosha, WI, 53142, on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m..

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to The Tabernacle Church.
