Donald V. Granlund

Donald V. Granlund of Zion, Illinois passed away April 15, 2024. He was born June 4, 1947 to parents Bernice and Ake Granlund.

Donald previously lived in Waukegan, Illinois, marrying his wife, Charolette Granlund on June 10, 1966. Donald retired as a computer engineer as well as an Army Veteran.

Donald is survived by his wife, Charolette Granlund; children, Chelly (Kevin) Eric, Mike (ReAnne) Granlund, and Jeremy Grandlund who has lived with Donald; grandchildren, Heather Granlund, Amber (David) Spainhour, Stephanie Martinez, Christina Granlund, Devin Eric, and Alan Lary; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Rochon; and brother, Tom Granlund.

Donald was preceeded in death by his son, Timothy Granlund; brother, Roni Granlund; and parents, Bernice and Ake Granlund.

A memorial service will be held Saturday June 8, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Winthrop Harbor VFW
