Joseph Richard Payette

Joseph Richard Payette, 78, of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024 in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

Joseph was born on October 1, 1945 in Waukegan, Illinois the son of Joseph Edward, and Lenore Marie (Turney) Payette. He graduated from Waukegan High School, and joined the Army. Joseph worked at Jewel-Osco in the meat department where he met Margo Bea Smith and they were married on October 31, 1998 in Waukegan, Illinois. Joseph loved attending to his garden, watching wrestling, and his three cats.

He is survived by his wife, Margo Payette.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph, and Lenore Payette; and brother, Dennis Payette.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. followed by a service at 6:00 p.m., at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, Illinois 60099.
