Obituary of Barbara Gilmore

Barbara A. Gilmore, 67, of Beach Park, Illinois, died on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at Rolling Hills Manor Nursing Home in Zion. Barbara was born July 14, 1939 in Tishomingo, Mississippi, and has resided in this area for the past 50 years. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. She retired from Friends Printing and Engraving in Zion. Survivors include her two sons, Kim Gilmore of Zion and Kerry (Cindy) Gilmore of Beach Park; one granddaughter; three great-grandsons; and three brothers, Donald (June) Bolton of Hamilton, Alabama, Bill (Asama) Bolton of Zion and Larry (Peggy) Bolton of Kansas City, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy C. Gilmore on November 1, 2006; and her parents. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2007, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the Congdon Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Beaver of Victory Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion.
