Obituary of Thomas Roskres

Thomas James Roskres Sr., 56, of Vernon, Illinois and formerly of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, died suddenly on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at his home in Vernon, Fayette County, Illinois. Tom was born June 15, 1950 in Kenosha and had lived in Winthrop Harbor most of his life. He retired from Commonwealth Edison in 2001 after 32 years. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Jill; children Thomas "T.J." Roskres Jr. of Bristol, Wisconsin, Kevin Paul Roskres of Missouri, Ryan Joseph Roskres of Bristol, Wisconsin, Carin (Mark) Domerchie of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Heather Angela Roskres of Kenosha, Wisconsin and Cory Roskres of Vernon, Illinois; two grandchildren Marissa and Mackenzie "Bear" Domerchie; his father Richard (Barbara) Roskres of Racine, Wisconsin; two brothers Paul (Kim Engle) Roskres of Kenosha, Wisconsin and Martin (Melodie) Roskres of Sommers, Wisconsin; and one sister Julie Roskres of Kenosha, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his mother Helen Roskres on January 21, 2005. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2007, from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 3001 9th Street, Winthrop Harbor. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 15th, at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Dr. Michael Brown, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery, Newport Township, Illinois.
