Lisa Wilten

Lisa Kay (Sweetwood) Wilten died on Wednesday, February 21, 2007, at Richardson Hospital in Texas after a lengthy and courageous battle with breast cancer. Lisa was born August 20, 1967 in Waukegan, to Wayne E. Sweetwood and Carolyn (Garrison) Peters. She was united in marriage to Burton K. Wilten June 26, 1999 in Dallas, Texas where she has resided since 1983. Survivors include her husband, Burton, son Troy, age 4, mother, Carolyn Peters of Rockford, IL and sister Suzanne Sweetwood of Oak Park, IL and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Sweetwood on February 19, 1993, grandparents, Ray & Estel Garrison of Harrisburg, IL, John & Margaret Sweetwood of Waukegan, uncle Don Garrison of Waukegan, and uncle and aunt, Charles & Maxine Lamar of Carrier Mills, IL. Funeral services will be at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion, on Friday, March 2, 2007 at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Libertyville. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be appreciated.
