Sandra Thompson

Sandra Ann Thompson, 61, a lifelong resident of Winthrop Harbor, died March 7, 2007 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. Sandra was born February 23, 1946, in Waukegan. She graduated from Zion-Benton Township Highschool in 1964 and married Jacob Thompson the same year. Sandra was involved in Immanuel Baptist Church in Kenosha, Wisconsin, provided Nursing Home Ministries with her husband for many years, and was also involved with Child Evangelism Fellowship. She worked for the state of Illinois for 20 years in the Student Loan Department. She is survived by her husband Jacob Thompson; and one son Jeffery (Karen) Thompson. She was preceded in death by her father and mother; one brother Donald Doty; and one nephew Brian Doty. A memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. at the Immanuel Baptist Church, 6009 Pershing Boulevard, Kenosha, Wisconsin.
