Obituary of Juland Borden

Juland Borden, 83, of North Chicago, Illinois, died on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at the Terrace Nursing Home in Waukegan, Illinois. She was the beloved mother of Arthur James (Maggie) McGee and William (Joyce) McGee both of North Chicago, Jessie (James) Smith of Redford, Michigan, Sallie (Ollis) Johnson, Shirlene Anderson and Korah Anderson all of Waukegan, and Bennie Jones of Gurnee; beloved step-mother of Margaret Anderson-Ward and Freddie (Mary) Anderson both of Chicago, Will Anderson of Oak Grove, Louisiana, Larry Borden and Lisa Borden (Raymond) Pittman both of Zion, and Terrell Borden of Naperville, Illinois; one sister Pearl Mills of Detroit, Michigan; one brother O. V. Hawthorn of Oakland, California; twenty-eight grandchildren; fifty-two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one nephew; three nieces; special cousins Ball and Walker families; and many friends and special friends who enhanced mother Juland's life. The family would also like to acknowledge Louise Christian and Ester Sims. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2007, from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. at Christian Valley Missionary Baptist Church, 2690 Argonne Drive, North Chicago, Illinois. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Church, Rev. Henry Woods officiating. Interment will follow at Northshore Garden of Memories, North Chicago.
