Obituary of Walter Kluzak

Walter L. Kluzak,79, of Zion, died on Thursday, September 27, 2007, at the Terrace Nursing Home in Waukegan. Walter was born August 18, 1928, in Euclid, MN, and retired from Stan Lock Buick in Kenosha after 15 years employment as an automobile mechanic. He served with the United States Army in the Korean War, and was a member of the Winthrop Harbor VFW and the American Legion. Walter was a loving father and loving husband to his wife of 47 years, Ardith ,who preceded him in death in 2003. He is survived by daughter, Arlene (Michael) Bower of Beach Parl, IL; son, Rodney Kluzak of Waukegan, IL; brother, John Kluzak of CA; sisters, Agnes Dvorak of Warren, MN, and Emily (Eldo) Jobe of Crookston, MN; and nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his wife, Ardith; brothers, William, Paul, and Edward Kluzak; and sister, Sylvia Filipy. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Friends may greet the family on Saturday, from11:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
